What is a Waiting Child?

Definition of Wait;
1.To stay in a place or remain inactive or in anticipation until something expected takes place.
2.To be ready or at hand.
3.To remain temporarily undone or neglected.

There are children all over the world who wait for a family to call their own. Just like the definition describes, they remain in one place, inactive, ready to be called upon, ready for their turn to come, battling feelings of remaining undone and feeling neglected, only to wait with anticipation for that glorious day when their forever family chooses them to become a part of something to call their own. It is called Family...it is called Love...it is a Miracle in itself. Some children find it...some do not.

I encourage you to look through the lists of waiting children on our private link. You just never know who your heart might be drawn to. There are children all over the world waiting for their Ordinary Hero to arrive.
  Waiting Children Around The World
Ethiopia
There are over 4 million orphans in Ethiopia today. Most are orphaned
due to extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS. No matter what the
circumstance, these children are the victims of a harsh reality.
They are children that have dreams and desires for
a life and for a family and yet their dream has not
come true.  They wait.
