Four years ago a journey began that would ultimately change my life, and the life of my family. This journey led us to countless children living in the Homeless Shelter here in Nashville,TN. It opened our eyes to a world right in our own backyard that we didn’t even know existed. This journey moved our hearts and our hands to action. As we sought to make a difference in our community, our hearts were also pulled toward the needs of children across the globe. This pull resulted in us adopting our 6th child from Ethiopia in Aug of 2008. Out of this experience Ordinary Hero was born. Our hope is that Ordinary Hero will open your eyes to the incredible needs of children here and all over the world.
